Danielle Miller is dedicated to living life with a heart full of love, gratitude and compassion. She was brought into a world full of chaos and hardship, but has always been able to see the light even in the darkest of times. In her teenage years, she was given a glimpse at the path of environmentalism through her following of the band the Grateful Dead. At the age of 19, she decided that her life’s mission would be to help care for Mother Earth, a mission which has taken many shapes and forms over the past 20 years.

Danielle graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A in Environmental Studies, and spent nearly a decade working in water conservation. The job that she was most passionate about was her role as Director of Communications for San Diego Coastkeeper, the city’s largest environmental non-profit. After nearly seven years of dedication, Danielle realized that something was missing. So she listened to her intuition and quit her job and found herself called to the ancient Appalachian Mountains of Asheville. It was here that she became a mother, taking on her most important role yet. After giving birth to her first child, Danielle realized that she was brought to Asheville to begin the important work of self-healing, and through this self exploration she realized that what had been missing during her work in the non-profit sector was spiritual connection to our beloved earth. It was through this realization that she became dedicated to being a steward of Pachamama through service to other beings and the Earth Spirit herself

For the past four years, Danielle has been training in the healing arts. Her training includes herbalism and energy healing. With her teacher and mentor, Daisy Marquis, Danielle completed certifications in Subtle Herbalism levels one and two at the Appalachia School of Holistic Herbalism. She has been trained in Anji Energy Healing, Advanced Energy Healing, Master level Usui Reiki, and Bana Reiki. Danielle has studied three levels of Daoist Stone and Crystal Medicine of the Jade Purity Lineage with Sarah Thomas, and has received the initiation of the Ñust’as: Healing Forces of Nature with Suzannah Tebbe Davis and Ellen Kittredge. In 2017, Danielle met Jeff Firewalker at a Tobacco ceremony and was introduced to the Northern Peruvian way of working with Grandfather Tobacco as a healing medicine. Inspired, Danielle enrolled in Firewalker’s Tobacco Initiation ceremonial workshop. It was here that she experienced a great remembering, and she has devoted herself to having a sacred relationship with this Master Teacher ever since. In 2019, Danielle completed an apprenticeship with the Eagle Condor Council Healing Intensive in the Andean Shamanic Traditions, and has recently been asked to sit on the Eagle Condor Council Board, a commitment she has accepted with great honor

This year, Danielle is in the process of launching her own healing practice, Moonflower Integrative Healing, and is now taking on clients. With this practice, she has interwoven her training in multidisciplinary modalities into a unique and broad-ranging platform. It brings her great joy to empower people to heal themselves!
