Prajna Ginty

Prajna Ginty, MA Best Selling Author Edge of Grace, A Fierce Awakening to Love, Hakomi Therapist, Direct Path Teacher of Feminine Heart Wisdom, Curandera in Shapibo Tradition.
She shares a potent message of embodied heart wisdom laced with sensitive care. She began teaching in 2001, after three decades of intensive spiritual investigation into the nature of reality. Her teachings are practical, non-dogmatic, and elicit the direct knowing of who we are amidst everyday life.
Prajna was introduced to Satsang in 1986, via the teachings of Ramana Maharshi, Anandamayi Ma, Nisargadatta Maharaj, and The Gospels of Mary and Thomas. She was graced with a sudden and profound spiritual awakening that led to seven years of Samadhi (a deep meditative state of absorption with Spirit). In 1994 her first child was born naturally at home; two years later, her twins were born—three months premature, blind and with severe brain injuries. Her daughters became her teachers, deeply influencing her sadhana and dharma. In 1998 she met Adyashanti, her root teacher and mentor, who told her “spiritual awakening is the beginning of a continuous transformation.” In 2001 she began sharing dharma teachings from the direct experience of life as a mother and lover of truth in emptiness and the manifestation of all form.
In 2010 Prajna returned to Indigenous Healing and traveled to Peru to study the healing potential of plant medicine. After seven years of experiential research, multiple plant Dietas and honing skills to navigate diverse dimensions she was given the title Curandera. She incorporates the universal wisdom of all Beings into her offerings. Prajna is professionally trained in multiple therapeutic healing modalities, including Hakomi Therapy, Transpersonal Psychology, Integrative Yoga Therapy, Waldorf Remedial Education, and Spatial Dynamics. She is a featured teacher on Buddha at the Gas Pump, Conscious TV, Living from Love, and One Truth, Many Voices, hosts AwakeningPrajnaYouTube and a regular guest on KVMR Public Radio.
Prajna lives in Santa Cruz, California with her twins where she directs The Flowing River Sangha and Sanctuary, a holistic conscious care home for young adults with special challenges. She teaches internationally, offering Silent Healing Retreats in Europe, California and North Carolina. She offers online courses, and a weekly online Live Meditation Practice. She is available for Satsang, Meditations, Intensives, Retreats and Conferences by invitation. AwakeningPrajna.com.
