JANE LAWSON

Jane Lawson, with her late husband John Myers, created Laughing Waters Retreat Center and Hickory Nut Forest Eco-Community in the mountains of North Carolina. She is a retired psychotherapist and energy worker. She believes that people develop a loving and respectful relationship with the land when they have experiences in nature. Her intention is to enable greater accessibility for wilderness experiences through programs and outdoor activities on her property, in order to help facilitate a groundswell of support for environmental education, awareness and protection.
